ESCRIBÀ DREAMS AND GOKORO TEAM UP TO CREATE A SPECIAL MOCHI FOR THE 29TH MANGA BARCELONA

In this edition of Manga Barcelona, Escribà Dreams together with Gokoro collaborate to create a new mochi for 29th MANGA BARCELONA; a mochi filled with Catalan cream that aims to magnify both Catalan and Japanese culture with the union of these typical traditional desserts.


This year, the culinary experience of Escribà Dreams and Gokoro will be present at the event with a new gastronomic creation. A new type of mochi, a characteristic Japanese sweet, to represent this edition of the show with its unique and novel flavor. The mochi created exclusively for 29th MANGA BARCELONA will be unveiled during the different days of the event in order to enhance our passion for Japanese culture.

The participation of Escribà Dreams in the event adds value to our gastronomic space and offers a different look at tradition. A pastry shop with a great history, now in the hands of the fourth generation of the family, led by the pastry chef Christian Escribà.

Escribà Dreams by Gokoro will offer four workshops in the Nihon Ryori space each day of the show to teach the laborious process of preparing mochis and the art of working with glutinous rice. Also, visitors will be able to learn how to prepare and taste these original Japanese desserts.
